Nightmare Hotel - AVOID Liked · Location was very good but that is all that is good about this hotel. Photos are extremely deceptive. Disliked · The small room is VERY SMALL. There is frosted glass into the toilet and it is two feet from the bed. I would NOT recommend this room for a couple. As well as this there is little to no room to unpack or to leave items around the room. The MINI fridge / bar in the room is redundant and very poorly stocked. Restaurant and bar staff are extremely rude also! However, worst of all the cleaning stuff removed my VOYA muslin cloth from the bathroom along with the towels and no effort has been made by the hotel to replace the item -

Absolutely fantastic stay here. The greeting when we arrived was so friendly and the guy at the front desk was happy to chat and recommend places for us to visit. We were in Lisbon for my husband's birthday and on the eve of his birthday we arrived back to our room to find balloons, champagne, pastries and a card wishing him a happy birthday. We were both really surprised and couldn't believe how thoughtful they were. The rooms are fairly small but we were very comfortable for our three night stay. The bed was really comfortable and the shower was really powerful and at a good temperature. Each day we were given fresh towels and the room was cleaned to an excellent standard. We also chose to eat at the restaurant one evening and can honestly say it was the best meal we had. The young waiter was extremely informative and recommended our dishes to us, we were both delighted with our food and wine choices and would happily eat here again. All in all we have nothing negative to say about this accommodation. Great location, comfortable and friendly.

Booked this hotel through Booking.com. I got an email asking me to ring the hotel directly regarding hotel transfer. I rang and got the rudest receptionist ever. She told me I had to email not to ring!! Ridiculous! I was speaking to her and being told to email....so she told me how to book through Booking.com. I finished call and booked transfer to the hotel through Booking.com Got to hotel. Everything looked great. Hotel was spotless. Receptionist lovely. Got to room also spotless. However the room was tiny. The weather in Lisbon was dreadful heavy rain most of the time. We went out one evening came back soaked to the skin. Decided to have a drink in the "Restaurant and Bar" as stated on the sinage over the entrance. We sat down and were given a menu. We told the waitress we only wanted a drink. She said unless we were having food we had to drink outside under the canopy in the rain. The restaurant was half empty! Then another guy presumably her manager took over from her, took the menus and basically told us to get out. I have never been treated so appallingly in a hotel. Absolutely disgraceful. I took photos of the half empty restaurant as proof.

Lovely hotel with delicious restaurant next-door and a perfect location for exploring all of their is to see close by. Unfortunately we had no heat in our room, (we were told there was only air conditioning when it is 65° out), the safe would not lock, and every day our keys did not work and had to be exchanged. We wereUnable to get Internet on two of our four Apple devices. When I went to the desk to tell them about it they told us that Apple does not always work on the Internet at this location. Seriously? Doesn’t everyone have Apple products these days? Why would you have Internet doesn’t work with Apple products? Every day we had some thing to fix or work out. I must have had to call the desk or go down to get keys 4 to 5 times each day. Service was poor at best but the room and the location were fantastic.

Great location in Lisbon. You can walk almost anywhere. Restaurants in the streets of the neighborhood. The hotels outdoor restaurant was exceptional. Great food and excellent service. The pork cheaks were fabulous. Hotel staff was exceptional for us English speaking folks. Always with a big smile.
